All Souls Unitarian Church
Building Renovation Project

Tour the Restorations and Enhancements of Our
Church (continued)

Taking the elevator from level 3 to level 2, the door opens and you walk into a new landing
area, where part of the Director of Religious Education's office used to be.  The new office,
now west of the landing, has been extended northward to make up for the lost space.

The hallway now welcomes us with a warm, attractive, coordinating tricolor paint scheme
along with fabric covered bulletin boards.  Modern lighting now illuminates the hallway.
The R.E. restrooms have new fixtures and dividers.  The classrooms feature modern
lighting, attractive ceiling tiles, new fixtures, enhanced bulletin boards and a warm,
complementary tricolor paint scheme.
Taking the elevator to the lower R.E. level, you will discover the custodian's living quarters have been rearranged to make
room for the elevator landing.  As in the upper R.E. wing, you will find modernized restrooms, new light fixtures, attractive
ceiling tiles, cloth covered bulletin boards, new fixtures, and a new paint scheme.  All together, these low cost enhancements
add must to the appearance, creating a warm, modern environment.

If you take the elevator down one more flight, you are in the basement.  Here you will find a new electrical box and supply
lines that support the new air conditioning in the R.E. wing.

Putting all these changes together, we now have a renewed All Souls ready for our next hundred years.  The tour is over, the
job has been done, and it's now time to celebrate our accomplishments.  We have all played an important role in "Honoring
the Past and Embracing the Future."

We hope for our celebration to coincide with the end of the renovation project around the beginning of the new church year
in mid-September.
